OUR NEW LOCATION

To better serve our patients we have moved to a larger, custom-designed audiology office invested with the latest state of the art technology committed to provide the best patient care.

Dr. Melanie Herzfeld and her staff at the Hearing and Tinnitus Center offer the highest level of professional audiological care including complete diagnostic evaluations, hearing aid fittings and tinnitus treatments. The Hearing and Tinnitus Center provides a comprehensive array of services related to prevention, evaluation, and rehabilitation of hearing impairment for people of all ages.

PEDIATRIC AUDIOLOGY

As a pediatric expert, Dr. Herzfeld was part of the committee selected to develop the Pediatric Board Certification Examination for the American Board of Audiology. Dr. Herzfeld is skilled at anticipating the test procedures needed for each child. Full diagnostic evaluations including auditory processing testing are available.

AMPLIFICATION

For patients needing amplification, Dr. Herzfeld will guide you through the selection of the most appropriate hearing aid technologies for your hearing loss, lifestyle requirements, and budgetary constraints. As an fully independent audiology practice we are able to offer our patients a wide selection of the best and most suitable hearing instruments from top line manufacturers such as Widex, Oticon, ReSound and Phonak, who utilize the latest state of the art, sophisticated digital solutions.

TINNITUS

For patients suffering from tinnitus Dr. Herzfeld will perform a comprehensive tinnitus evaluation. Based upon the results of this evaluation, a customized therapy solution will be created, including the latest technologies from leading companies including Widex, Soundcure, Neuromonics, ReSound, General Hearing Instruments and Paxx, and can include treatments such as notched music therapy, combination devices, and maskers. There is at present no cure for tinnitus, but for many patients the debilitating effect of tinnitus can be greatly alleviated.

Dr. Herzfeld, Board Certified and specialty Board Certified in pediatric audiology by the American Board of Audiology , and with many years of experience, will assess your hearing in a skillful manner in our comfortable office suite.
